About this Position

Business Analysts provide internal and client-facing quantitative analysis of Bazaarvoice's hosted online community solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance of online user-generated content, identify trends/best practices, and develop actionable insights and recommendations
• Provide Client Services, Sales and Marketing teams with objective measurements of ROI resulting from use of the Bazaarvoice solution
• Develop advanced analytics service offerings for sales opportunities
• Identify case study and white paper opportunities from client success stories

The Business Analyst role is demanding and requires exceptional analytical, business and technology skills. We are looking for candidates who are truly passionate about servicing our clients and who have strong analytical skills coupled with industry experience.

Job Requirements:

• E-commerce experience and expertise with online marketing concepts and social commerce trends
• Desire to learn how to use web analytics tools like Coremetrics or Omniture, and Google Analytics
• Demonstrated analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• Experience with measuring the effectiveness of A/B testing
• Experience with database languages such as mySQL
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint(pivot tables exp=yummy!)
• Advanced knowledge of Internet tools and productivity applications, including MS Office, web browsers, instant messaging, feed readers, search engines, etc.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
