I was just recently checking out Twitter wondering if there had been any new developments on the latest Air France tragedy and it was actually quite amazing the rate at which people were expressing their concern and sympathy. Tweets were coming in at around 5-10 every few seconds. It’s a very tragic event and if you want to stay on top of the conversation, check it out here.
Then I looked over to see that “Conan” was also a hot Twitter topic, referring to Conan O’Brien – the new host of the Tonight Show. I was even more surprised to see that tweets were coming in at an astonishing 45-50 every few seconds. I haven’t refreshed for about 10 minutes and already there are 1300+ new tweets, people are live-tweeting the Tonight Show.
