( Check out previous posts for a full breakdown of SEO positions by salary level) In this graph we compare SEO salaries with other average salaries in the U.K. (based on actual advertised salaries). The trends are interesting. There is no doubt that some jobs are showing uptrends at the moment (social media and security related jobs for example). Search Engine Optimisation average salaries remains steady however as our earlier posts show, there is a good salary distribution pattern for SEO jobs reflecting the fact that experience and responsibility will also be rewarded. It will be interesting to see how these categories of SEO Manager, SEO Executive and SEO specialist trend over the next few months. This is a challenging area to be working in as the demands on professionals increase. No longer is being an expert in a narrow area enough – everyone needs to open their eyes and embrace all aspects of digital development.
