How would you like to optimise your business performance by predicatively scoring customers, establishing new opportunities and seeing real examples of how predictive modelling is employed?

Image of Predictive Analytics World badge for 2015 San Francisco conferenceThis year the first Predictive Analytics World Conference will be held in San Francisco from March 29th to April 2nd. You may be asking yourself a few questions while reading this post and the first one is probably: “It’s only just the end of February! Why are you posting this now?”.

Why to give you first dibs at registering for this event … and a great offer for the conference, of course – Our amazing WAW readers get 15% off the price of registration!

What can you Expect from the Conference this Year?

The Predictive Analytics conference is hosting a wide range of Workshops such as:

  • Big Data
Marc Smith from Connected Action Consulting Group is setting aside time to talk about the value of Big Data and what methods you need to extract value from such a large quantity of data.
  • Predictive Modeling Methods
Dr. John Elder from Elder Research introduces you to the best and worst of Predictive Analytics and common mistakes.
  • Advanced Predictive Modeling Techniques
After your introduction to the best and worst, join Dean Abbott from Abbott Analytics as he talk you through some Advanced Methods for Predictive Analytics Modeling
  • Predictive Analytics in Healthcare
Looking for something a bit more tailored to your industry? Check out this session focusing on Healthcare and with three keynote speakers.
  • R Bootcamp
Who doesn’t love a good bootcamp? This one is sure to exercise your brain as it combines R and Predictive Analytics and it gets better! This one is solely for the “R” newbies who want to get their hands dirty

These are only a few of the workshops that will be available at this year’s conference and there should be something for every level of learning from beginners to experts alike.

There are two streams to this year’s conference the PAW Business Side of things which runs from March 29th to April 2nd and PAW Workforce which runs from March 31st to April 1st. The PAW Workforce stream will focus on using Predictive Analytics to solve workforce challenges and some of the speakers include Greta Roberts from Talent Analytics, Elpida ORmanidou from Walmart and Holger Mueller from Constellation Research.

Now we’ve covered the basics of the conference but we do recommend checking out the Predictive Analytics Website to see the Exhibitor lists and more extensive Speakers/Workshops lists. If you’re ready to register now you can but don’t forget your 15% off discount code which is exclusive to our WAW readers: WAWBP15
