What is it Good At?
SocialBro enables an organization to manage and analyse their Twitter communities, through a dashboard of tools; from creating and managing lists, following/unfollowing tools, analyzing followers or lists of followers and identifying specific followers through filters. It is also possible to run a competitor analysis through adding the chosen competitor’s account as a “source” into SocialBro.
From individual and small organizations up to multi-national organisations and global brands.
How is it Used?
Once the preferred plan has been selected, the Twitter account has authorised the use of the application and the first synchronisation has completed; the user can begin to use the dashboard tools to analyze and manage their Twitter communities, identify potential customers or influencers.
What do you get?
The dashboard provides panels of data from global stats showing the growth of the community to new unfollows or follows. Tools available include:
- Realtime analytics – showing data about who is currently online
- Synchronizing influence data from PeerIndex
- Best time to Tweet
- Insights into the community
- Discover Twitter users
- Analyze Competitors
- Monitor a Hashtag
- Analyze Lists
- Import users for analysis
Free accounts have access to these tools but there are limitations e.g. on the size of community analyzed for best time to tweet.
Support is available through an online contact form or from their social media channels: Twitter, Facebook, Google+. Online support tools include a detailed user guide, knowledge base and a community for product enhancement ideas.
There are five plans included in the range from Premium which allows: 2 Twitter Accounts, several thousand social contacts (Followers + who you Follow + Contacts from any source you add to SocialBro) and 5 sources e.g. .txt file or Twitter search for $6.95 a month; up to Corporate which starts from 200,000 social contacts. *
There is also a free desktop version.
* as at August 2012
SocialBro is available via the Cloud (Chrome, Firefox and Safari) as a paid solution or via Desktop: Chrome and Adobe Air.
